Shopify Integration

Connecting your Shopify store is what turns clicks into attributed revenue. Once connected, InfluTrace receives each new order from Shopify and credits it to the right creator automatically.

Connecting your store

  1. Open Integrations in the sidebar and click Add integration.
  2. Choose Shopify from the library.
  3. Enter your store domain — just the my-store part of my-store.myshopify.com.
  4. Click Continue to Shopify and approve the connection on Shopify's consent screen.
  5. You're returned to InfluTrace, where the store now shows a green Connected badge.

That's the whole setup — no code to paste. Connecting automatically registers the order webhook so new orders sync on their own.

Admins only

Connecting, disconnecting, and re-syncing integrations require an Admin role. Members can see connected stores but can't change them. See Roles & Permissions.

Connecting a store doesn't, by itself, track orders for a link. On each link you want to measure, tick the store under Enable integrations (when creating or editing the link).

Orders and revenue are recorded only for links with an integration enabled. Links with none still track clicks.

See Tracking Links.

Verifying the connection

On a connected store's card, click Verify setup to run a live check against Shopify. You'll see a checklist showing whether:

  • the orders webhook is registered, and
  • the storefront tracking script is installed.

If something's missing — for example the order webhook shows ✗ — click Re-sync to re-register it. Until the order webhook is registered, orders won't be captured.

Managing multiple stores

You can connect more than one store, including several Shopify stores. Each connection is a separate card on the Integrations page, and each link chooses which connected store(s) it tracks.

Other providers (WooCommerce, Magento, Custom) appear in the library marked Coming soon.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect on a store's card (admins only) to stop syncing its orders. If you remove the app from within Shopify instead, InfluTrace detects the uninstall and marks the integration disconnected automatically.

Troubleshooting missing orders

If sales aren't showing up, check these in order:

  1. Is the integration enabled on the link? A link with no integration records clicks only. Edit the link and tick your store.
  2. Is the order webhook registered? Use Verify setup → Re-sync on the store card.
  3. Was the order attributable? Manual or draft orders with no coupon and no tracking data can't be credited to a creator and are skipped. The coupon path is the most reliable.

For how a given order is matched to a creator, see How Attribution Works.
