Quick Start

This walkthrough takes you from a fresh account to your first attributed sale in about ten minutes. Each step links to a deeper guide if you want more detail.

1. Create your account

Go to the sign-up page and either continue with Google or register with an email and password. New email accounts get a confirmation link — click it to activate, then sign in. The first time you log in, a personal workspace and a Default Campaign are created for you automatically.

See Signing In for details.

2. Connect your store

Open Integrations in the sidebar and click Add integration. Shopify is available today (WooCommerce, Magento, and custom stores are coming soon). Choose Shopify, enter your store domain (the my-store part of my-store.myshopify.com), then approve the connection. You'll be brought back to InfluTrace with the store marked Connected.

Connecting registers the order webhook automatically, so orders start syncing right away. See Shopify Integration.

TIP

You can use InfluTrace without a store connected — you'll still get click tracking. But orders and revenue only appear for links that have an integration enabled.

Go to Links → Create Link and:

  1. Paste the destination URL (the product or collection page on your store).
  2. Keep the auto-generated back-half, or type your own and watch the live availability check.
  3. Under Enable integrations, tick your Shopify store so orders are tracked.
  4. Pick a campaign (or leave it on Default).

Save, and you get a short link like:

influtrace.link/p/abc-123

See Tracking Links.

You don't need a separate link per creator. Add the creator's username to the end of any link:

influtrace.link/p/abc-123/ava
influtrace.link/p/abc-123/marcus

Every click and sale is then split out by creator in your reports — no extra setup.

5. (Optional) Map a coupon to a creator

If a creator promotes a discount code, open the campaign, find the Coupon attribution panel, and map the code (e.g. AVA10) to that creator's link. Now even orders with no click are credited correctly — and coupons are the most reliable signal.

See Coupon Attribution.

6. Share and watch the numbers

Hand the links (and coupons) to your creators. As clicks and orders roll in:

  • The Dashboard shows top-line revenue, clicks, orders, and your best creators.
  • Each link and campaign has its own report with a by-creator breakdown and a date-range picker.

See Reports & Analytics.
